Hi Ladies,

 We're due with #2 in Oct and I'm going to try and potty train DD this summer but if that fails I have 23 fuzzi bunz one size and 12 Kawaii diapers.  Do you think I need to increase my stash?

Those aren't going to fit until a month after birth (10-12 lb mark).

You could always get some newborn diapers to fit the gap.

I'm in a similar situation but DD is older and showing no signs of wanting to potty train. I just bought 6 Fitteds a couple more covers, and 3 NB pockets, I already have infant pre folds and covers, I'm hoping DD will be potty trained by the time 2 is ready for the OS dipes.

My theory? My washer doesn't get bigger, and I never want more than 1 stinky diaper load waiting. So I won't be buying more diapers to diaper two, I'll be doing more laundry. I have about 30 now, which can easily go 3 days with one.

I have 27 OS diapers, and I don't plan on increasing my stash much for having two in diapers (except to use it as an excuse to buy all the fun diapers I've been eyeing lol), but I am going to buy a newborn stash. I am attempting to make sure I only buy diapers like Thirsties duos and others that the smaller size will last until 16 lbs or so. I have big babies, though, so I don't know if that would work as well if you have small newborns. Hopefully by the time #2 grows out of the smaller sizes dd#1 will be potty trained or working on it (she will be 18 months when #2 is born).

I am going to attempt potty training also. Mine will be about 20-21 months apart. If not I think I might just use the Flip system on my oldest and my pockets on the baby.

This is my theory, too. I did purchase an inexpensive NB stash though, as OS diapers won't fit til 10-12 lbs like PP said.

This is what I did. Everyone said not to PT until after baby came because of regressions, so now I wash every day. It's NBD to me.
