I still have to wonder why in the world they serve alcohol on flights. Granted this guy would have probably been an ass eith way but I have to wonder iff the situation would have been as bad if he was sober.

Meanwhile bless this mom for being as calm as she is and bless the other passengers who stepped in to help.

This guy would have been a fckwad in a bar, sporting event, or any other situation involving alcohol. Some people just can't handle their drink, but I don't think alcohol should be entirely banned from flights.

I'm glad people stepped up to help her out.  I think that would be a scary situation to be in.

A girl on my BMB's husband was on the flight as well. He said that the child was crying the entire flight. Not that it makes what that jerk did ok. He also said the guy said he was going to Atlanta to take a loved one off of life support. If that was the case I would be drinking too. He still shouldn't have hit the kid or used that word.

I'm definitely cold, but, yeah, I call BS. Also, even if true, no one cares because you hit a kid after calling him something awful twice. Sorry, buddy!

Who knows if it was really true. We were skeptical too. I just think it is interesting to hear the full report from other passengers. They made it seem like the kid had just started crying. Now that ruined his life over something so insignificant as a kid crying.

Losing a loved one doesn't turn a person racist or even make someone hit a kid. That's a character flaw.

I admire the mothers control and feel so sad for that baby.
