For all of you SAHM, what is your typical daily routine with LO?
I've been feeding LO on demand so he has made his own eating routine, but now that he is more active and playful I would like to set up a regular day routine.
This is the schedule I try to keep but it doesn't always happen. Lately he hasn't been wanting to eat his entire bottle at one sitting, and his naps are either super short or really long. I do follow this awake time schedule, so at 4 months he isn't wake more than 2hrs. at a time.
7-7:30am Wake-up, get dressed, bottle, playtime
8:30-9am - Finish bottle if there is any left, down for nap
Wake-up time varies, sometimes he'll sleep for an hr other times it's 2-3 hrs.
Bottle when DS wakes up from nap then playtime.
1-ish - Naptime
3:00 - Wake-up, bottle, playtime
5-ish - Catnap
5:30 - Wake-up, bottle, playtime
6:00 - Try to feed baby food, he's not a big fan!
7:00 - Get ready for bed
7:15 - Feed bottle, put down for bed when done with bottle.
If we run errands we do that in the morning, mostly because DD naps in the afternoon. I'll probably have to adjust this as DS gets older and he actually follows the schedule.
We don't have an hour by hour routine but the overall day is the same. He eats about every 4 - 5 hrs during the day and goes down for naps after being awake after about every 2-3 hrs. Those get tossed in this schedule when needed.
Wakes up and I get him dressed
Put him in the swing for about 15 - 30 minutes. (It's his place to hang out and play without too much effort)
Then I read him some books, talk to him, sing songs and do physical activity (head, shoulders, knees and toes, pat-a-cake, etc.) We probably do this for about 30 - 60 minutes depending on his tollerance.
He has a Jumperoo that he loves and also a walker so depending on what I'm doing he will go into one of those. He'll stay in those from 30 - 60 minutes.
I schedule tummy time after his afternoon nap and long after he eats otherwise he spits up. He doesn't mind tummy time so he is on the floor for about an hour (not all on his tummy though).
After DH gets home he will talk/play with LO in his lap and he might go back in the swing for a little bit. My LO is really good at letting us know when he is done (aka "sick and tired") of doing an activity so that is when I normally switch it up.
DH get bedtime duty most nights.

DD is 5 1/2 months old and our days usually look like this:
7:30 wake and change diaper; nurse
8:30 she plays while I pump, then we play together
9ish I shower and she usually naps until around 10
we take the dog on a walk, then play or run errands or go see Grandpa
nurse
around 1:30 she naps for approximately 2 hours, then nurse and another walk. She'll play while I make dinner. Daddy comes home, gives her a bath, book, tummy time and then I nurse her and put her down around 8:30. She typically STTN, waking around 7:15am.
I pretty much follow his cues all day as to what he wants (nap, hungry, play time, swing time, cuddle, rocking, etc). So each day is pretty different for us, except he usually wants to eat around the same time every day. Naps aren't very consistent and does not seem to like the idea of falling asleep on his own at the moment, so he usually falls asleep nursing or rocking for naps.

how old is your LO?
My LO is 5 1/2 months as well.

~7am: DS1 and DS2 wake up (sippy for DS!_
~8am: Bfast for DS1
~9am: bottle for DS2
~10:30am: DS2 takes 45 min nap
~1pm: DS2 bottle and put DS1 down for nap
~2:30pm: DS2 naps for an hour or so
~4pm: DS2 up from nap
~5pm: DS2 bottle
~6pm: Dinner
7:30pm: start bedtime routine
*******************
If we have errands to run we do that in the mid-morning, so we dont mess up DS1's naptime.
DS2 still wakes up numerous times each night... so feedings may vary
