We are thinking of naming our baby girl Madison Drew, last name two syllables. Thoughts on the name or any other suggestions for middle names? Brother in law is Andrew hence the name Drew. We will be calling her Maddie for short so we are looking for something that flows well with Maddie and Madison.
Please help our due date is approaching quickly!!!
Re: Baby girl name help!
Madison is #1 on our list right now and I love the nickname Maddie. The only thing that bothers me is that its becoming very very popular. But if you love it go with it.
I have to admit to having a soft spot for Madison- despite it's popularity and trendiness.
I like the sound and flow of Madison Drew-- my one criticisim is that both names are a little bit androgynous, so I am going to suggest a few more femme combos:
Madison Rose
Madison Leigh
Madison Ruby
Madison Grace
Madison Jade
Madison June
Madiosn Faye
Madison Hope
Good Luck!

I think with a more unisex fn you need a girly middle name. Since you want to honor your BIL Andrew, what about Andrea? (which is ironic, because Andrea is also traditionally a male name but has been a female name for so long I think it works better than Drew)... Madison Andrea. Or even just Ann/Anne- since you were going to shorten Andrew to Drew anyways, just use the first part of the name isn't of the second half. Madison Ann/Anne.
Other possibilities (but aren't as close to Andrew):
Adrianna
Deanna
