bedding for toddler bed?

I was just curious what type of bedding you have in your LO's toddler bed? My 24 month old is still in the crib with just the fitted sheet and a sleep sack. I've bought him a pillow for when we switch the crib to a toddler bed, but i'm wondering do you all use a sheet set and comforter? i'm hesitant to spend too much money since i figure he will move to a "big boy bed" after that. if you did buy bedding, where did you get it from?

We just used the fitted sheet from the crib plus a small blanket. I have at least 8 crib sheets and didn't see any reason to buy new toddler bedding when those worked just fine. We didn't get her a sheet set and comforter until she moved to a twin bed.

The only sheet sets I could fine were from pottery barn and too expensive ($50). We use crib sheet we did get a more grown up looking comforter from pottery barn, but she will be in this bed at least two years due to space issues in our house, and she uses her baby blanket and another blanket she has.

We got toddler sheets from target.  They are on clearance right now for $6.  We just got two sets.  I wanted her to have a flat sheet as well.

We're switching DD2 from her crib to a twin bed right now. In her crib, she has a pillow and two of her bigger baby blankets that she sleeps with. We also have a ton of those fleece blankets with the twisted sides that people made that fit in a crib/toddler bed. Like this.

I bought DD a comforter set, but only because it helped to ease her into her toddler bed. She got to pick out which one she wanted and  she was so excited, especially since her crib was going to DD2, so it made it less of a rough situation!

We used a fitted crib sheet and then bought her a Minnie Mouse throw blanket and Minnie Mouse pillow case.

My girls share a room and one is in the crib and the other is in the toddler bed.  I bought a crib set from pottery barn and added on the pillow sham.  The dust ruffle and bumpers went in the crib and the comforter and sham went on the toddler bed.
