VBAC
VBAC in Maine?
Any bumpies with VBAC experiences in maine? I'm up in Knox county and the hospitals up here won't do VBAC. I've been told the only place to go is Portland, but that is almost 2 hours away...I was also told not to bother making contact with them until i'm about 32 weeks along...I'd really like a VBAC since i didn't even go into labor the first time, but i feel like there is no support in this area. The local family planning wasn't even aware of the hospitals no VBAC policy, and my DR wants to schedule a CS for 38 just in case, even though she said i'm a good VBAC candidate...i went 40 weeks with DS and never had a contraction, so i'm kinda doubting that i'll go in to labor naturally before 38 weeks. i feel like i have no rights...Anyone with a similar experience have some advice?
