when I say it was one of those days that I couldn't help but be frustrated that DS can remember the number and color of the pens in the vet's pocket on Friday, but can't, say, remember to brush both top AND bottom teeth, or wash hands after using the bathroom.

Been there. Oh, yeah. 

I was kind of skeptical of rewards charts, but man, DD1 is a sticker-collecting machine and it has really worked for us. It's been like 10 days since I've had to remind her about washing her hands, and it's such a relief to not feel like I'm constantly hovering and nagging.
