D.O.R.E. for dyslexia

Anyone have experience with this program?

Some friends are looking into it for their son who has dyslexia. It would require a great deal of travel for them to do this.

  • I second going with an Orton-Gillingham based program.  Linda-Mood-Bell works too, especially if the child has some speech issues added in.  Search Scottish Rite/Masons to see if you are lucky enough to have one of their dyslexia centers in your area that provides FREE OG tutoring.  If none are available, OG maintains a database of people that are certified that you can hire for tutoring.
