DH & I are expecting twin girls in just another 10 weeks, and I'm having such a tough time deciding. DH not so much.
One of our girls will be named Ava for sure. Middle name most likely Marie. The only other name I keep circling back to is Aubrey....I think it's so pretty. But does it seem corny to have both girls names start with an "A"? and then I have no idea where to begin for a middle name...
Any other suggestions out there?
TIA!
Re: need help with twin girls name
I think it's cute ... especially since they don't start with the same "a" sounds. I think it get corny when they're too matchy matchy ... or rhyme. Like Jill and Bill. Now that's corny.
As for middle names .... what about Aubrey Kate? or Aubrey Mae?
Emma Kate - born 10.16.03 @ 29 weeks, weighed 1lb 13oz and 13.5" long.

I don't think it's corny. They sound fine together.

I suppose it's up to you. I am a twin and my brother and I share a first initial. It was never an issue for us.
If you like Aubrey, use it. I prefer Audrey over Aubrey, but that's just me.
Aubrey Elizabeth would be pretty I think.
OK, good to know! Thank you!
Stella is very pretty! Hmmm...I like Sophia too, but DH doesn't.
No prob!
I think the two names starting with A are totally fine.
I actually have twin cousins named Eva Marie(but the spanish pronounciation-- like Eva Mendes) and her sister's name is Gianna.
Suggetsions for middle name for Aubrey:
Aubrey Rose
Aubrey June
Aubrey Jade
Aubrey Matilda
Aubrey Odette
Aubrey Paige

I think they are a cute pairing, and not too matchy, especially because they have different "a" sounds.
I don't love Ava Marie only because it reminds me of the song Ave Maria.... not that that's a negative thing or anything!
Thanks for the input everyone!
