Intro

Hi everyone.  I'm new here, so I thought I would introduce myself and tell you a little about our story.  DH and I have been together 8 1/2 years, and have been married a little over 8 months.  Since we are coming up on our 1st anniversary in June, I'm more and more feeling ready to start TTC, but DH is still a little cautious about the subject.  I'm not sure exactly when we will be TTC, but I thought I would join the group since I definitely have babies on the brain constantly!  I hope I can get some advice and also more knowledge about TTC through this board.  Thank you and good luck to anyone else who might be TTC at this time.

Hi! I'm also new here and also counting down to our 1 yr anniversary in June I don't know about you but I feel like lately I have been seeing babies EVERYWHERE! It doesn't help that I work at a department store so there are current/expecting mothers around all the time lol. Both DH and i are anxious to start ttc but have decided to wait to start until this summer (there is a possibility we might be moving in  the next few months). I'd say there's no harm in discussing with your DH exactly why he is still a little apprehensive (ex. money, timing, general holy-crap-how-do-we-know-we're-ready?-ness) so that the two of you can nail down a goal date for starting to ttc or decide that its not time yet and you'll revisit the discussion later. 

 I know waiting can be super hard, especially when its all you can think about. A lot of people suggest getting a hobby - I've found that planning and working on paying down some debt has helped alleviate my BOTB a little bit.

Thank you everyone! @rayschicky, my DH and I have now decided to wait 2 years.  It's going to be hard to wait because of all the babies around, but it's going to be so worth it in the end!
