Marah or ayla?

Well I have never heard either name but I like Ayla really well. Its simple and super elegant. Marah is cute too. I think that spelling makes it the easiest to pronounce. I knew right how to say it just by looking at your title. Good choices.

Our LO is *probably* going to be Ayla, but pronounced  Eye-Luh which is the traditional Turkish pronunciation and we are prepared to correct people here, but hopefully not in Turkey at least

Both of your names have a similar flow and feeling to me, so I vote either! But no H on Mara.

Ayla is pretty too, but it always reminds me of those Jean Auel books, and I wouldn't want to name my daughter after a cavewoman.
