I've been a fairly inactive poster on TB this pregnancy, but have been following Feb 2013 board regularly. Just want to share by birth story with all you wonderful mommies who supported me during this pregnancy. Due date was Feb 10th, but was scheduled for a RCS on Feb 6th (GD, previous C section and polyhydramnios). However, on Feb 1st, my son failed his NST and didn't breathe on the Bio physical u/s, so they asked me to admit to L&D right away. All this while I was having contractions regularly. By the time I reached hospital, my contractions were one on top of another. 

Once I checked in, the Dr confirmed I was 2 cm dilated. I begged for an epidural while the Dr, DH and I were discussing if vaginal birth was even a "remote" possibility. The Dr, however decided to stick with the original plan of RCS due to risk of ruptures and ordered my blood work. It took about 3 hrs to get my blood work back and to give me a go for repeat c-section. I was prepped and our precious bub arrived weighing 7.4 lbs and 22 inches long on 2/1/13 @ 6:39 pm. He was sent to the NICU due to low blood sugars and after 10 hrs in NICU his sugars stablized, he was in my arms....love everything about my DS#2, the touch, the smell and how we bonded despite the c-section. The hospital staff was just great. 

Just wanted to say during my pregnancy, I had doubts if I could ever love another child like my first, but once I saw DS#2 after birth I can emphatically say that a mother's heart has plenty of Love and room for all her babies! I am in love all over again with DS#2.   Thanks for reading.
