I'm waiting in line for the subway. The girl in front of me is dressed to the nines at 9:00 a.m. on a Saturday, complete with sequined 4" stilettos. Her friend shows up, sans mascara, to which girl number 1 exclaims, "Whoah, look at your eyes! You can't go out like that! Don't worry, I've got mine," and pulls out a pill box of false lashes, one for each day of the week.

You have to laugh.
