Poor Baby

I was looking in my city's weekly newspaper and there was a baby born:

Grayson Robert. 

But it is a girl. It was no mistake as the picture had the baby with pink and a bow.

Poor Girl.

born July 7th 2013 at 33 weeks!
Noah was diagnosed with Down Syndrome at Birth.
Jillian was diagnosed with Diabetes in June 2013

    When I was a studio photographer I took photos of a little girl named Grayson (the parents told me it was Mom's maiden name).  I hadn't heard of the name before so I didn't think it was odd.

    I normally think that MNs are a free-for-all but that poor little girl.

    I think Grayson is a good name, but better for a boy. The middle name of Robert is awful though.

    I don't think it's really that bad! I've heard much worse. The only Grayson I've ever heard of was a girl- she was on Top Chef last season.

    BFP #1: 12/2009 m/c 1/2010 BFP #2: 6/2010 m/c 8/2010

    BFP #3: 10/2011 ectopic 11/2011 (right tube removed, learned left tube was probably nonfunctional due to scar tissue from infection after m/c)

    3 failed IUIs, IVF #1: 18R, 12M, 10F, 3 poor quality 5d embryos transferred= BFP #4!!!!!

    Betas: 9dp5dt: 64 ~14dp5dt: 91 (expecting miscarriage, doubling time of 236 hours) ~16dp5dt: 200~18dp5dt: 500

    First Ultrasound at 6w2d revealed two sacs, only one with a heartbeat

    LK arrived after 42 weeks on August 14, 2013! Beautiful, healthy, and happy!

    TTC#2: IVF booked for April 2015

    Surprise BFP#5 February 19, 2015 EDD: November 2, 2015

    Betas: 10dpo: 10, 14dpo: 77, 17dpo: 270

    First Ultrasound at 5w1d showed a miracle UTE baby! And right ovary ovulation to left fallopian tube.

    JD arrived at 38 weeks on October 20, 2015.

    TTC #3: Since October 2017. BFP #6 July 2, 2018 EDD: March 16, 2019 [/spoiler]

    Please be a typo.  I really like the name for a BOY.

    I'm hoping it's a typo and maybe the man is Roberta. Either way it's not a good name!

    Hopefully it's a typo. 

    At least she has some nicknames she could go by

    Bertie

    Bobbie (idk, maybe?)

    Poor kid is in for lifetime of being mistaken for a boy. Grayson on a girl is one thing, but a girl named Robert is quite another. That is absolutely awful.

    This is actually a name we have on our list for a boy.

    I think it is terrible on a girl.

    "Well sweetie, we really wanted a boy.  When the ultrasound technician told us you were a girl, we just knew she was wrong.  And we paid a lot of money to a voodoo doctor to make sure you were a boy.  But it didn't work!  When you came out, you were a girl!  We were so sad.  I cried and your father couldn't look at you for 4 days.  The only way we could get through it was to give you the name we had been calling you for 9 months."
