XP: Bloody show or side effect of internal?

I had my 40 week checkup yesterday which included an internal exam and my OB stripped my membranes since I was 2 cm 70%. Just went to the bathroom and there was quite a bit of bloody (pink/red streaked) mucous. My question is - bloody show or just one of the side effects from the membrane sweep/internal exam?
