What does everyone do for baths? I'm still giving me LO who will be 1 month tomorrow a sponge bath with warm water and soap. Is anyone using a baby tub yet??

Yep, we use a whale tub from BRU online. It has a little seat to hold him up. He hated the sponge baths but he loooooves his whale tub. I just bathed him, he kicked water EVERYWHERE and thought it was hilarious.

I give her baths, and have since the cord fell off at 1 wk old. Sometimes I take her in the bath with me, with shallow water and I hold her the entire time, we both enjoy it a lot, it's a great bonding time now that she is more alert.

I may have to try your technique...she seems to like baths ok, but she gets mad when her hair gets wet, so maybe she'll like taking a bath with me until I get her hair wet...

currently we use a baby bathtub with the infant sling...have since her cord stump fell off

I have a garden tub so there's plenty of room.. Since her cord fell off I've always taken baths with her. At first I used her fold out mesh bath seat and now she sits in my lap while I rub her down. Bath time is our favorite!!!

We also have the whale tub and DS seems to like it.  We've been using it since his cord fell off and his circ healed around 2 weeks.

We have the whale tub also and started using it as soon as her belly button was healed up.  She hated sponge baths but loves being in the whale tub. She loves having the water poured over her and even loves when my hubby holds her body under the faucet.  She is almost 6 weeks. We love bath time!

We did tub baths right from the beginning , just drying the cord well. I started using the big bath tub at about 3 weeks when I didn't mind squatting/kneeling to hold her.

We use the Primo bath tub. It's huge and she absolutely loves the bath. We had a smaller tub in the sink for the first 8 weeks; we have been using a tub since we came home per our pedi advise, we just dried the cord well afterwards and we had no issues with our first or this one.
