Monthly U/Ss for me...

So my OB got back to me and wants me to have monthly U/Ss because of my 2 vessel umbilical cord.

I get to see my LO more often! Wahoo! (I know that's probably not the "correct" reaction to that news, but I'm not really worried about the 2 vessel thing and as long as my babe keeps growing (which I'll want to know if s/he does or doesn't do), I'm psyched that I'll get to see the P?pite often!

    I've been on the once every 4 week routine since 16 weeks and it is really nice to get those extra ultrasounds, it's cool to see LO morphing into a little boy! I have one tomorrow afternoon, perfect way to end the week!

    It is nice to get to see the LO more often.  For me, sometimes it's a mixed blessing b/c I always go into the appt fearing they will find something wrong.  Hoping all of your monthly u/s go smoothly for you!

    Yeah that will be cool to see the baby so often!  My next u/s in about a week and I'm excited since I haven't seen her since 20 weeks.

    Well, sorry to hear you're high risk but yay for seeing the bambino more often!

    That's exactly how I would look at it.  Get to see the baby more often and see how they are growing!  Take care.

    Daniele, that is absolutely the right reaction to that news. Yes I seem to recall you mentioning that your research revealed it was more of a quirk than anything else and does not put the baby at higher risk for anything in particular (am I remembering correctly?).
