Asthma and Advair

Has anyone taking Advair while pregnant and had anything bad happen to the LO? i m going fo rmy 20 week apt today and scared that the Advair might have harmed the baby. Its either take the Advair or not breath for me :-(

    Talk about it with your own doctors, but I took it through my pregnancy, with no ill effects (well, I had a big hypoglycemic baby, but it's unlikely to be related, and those are pretty minor problems). I was told it's fine to take, as are most inhaled steroids - I talked with motherrisk, and they had studies showing no increased risks.

    Even if there are risks, if mom's not getting enough air, neither is baby. Not getting air is a pretty big risk.

    This is not specifically about Advair, and a little hard to follow, but basically is a practice update for doctors that might be a little reassuring.
