Combi Twin Sport Stroller

I have narrowed down my search of a double stroller to the Combi Twin. Has anyone had good/bad experience with this stroller? Has anyone used a Chicco infant seat with this stroller?

We have a small car and will be traveling alot internationally so we needed a double that is light and folds up well. We will have a 13 month old when the baby is born in July.

  • We had it. It worked really well for when they were younger and I do recommend it, but I recommend buying it used. I found as the kids got heavier it got harder to push. I couldn't maneuver it very well in gravel once they reached a certain weight. I never had that problem with my city mini. But the way it folded it was amazing! I really did love that,

I used our Chicco infant seat with it. I didn't have an adaptor and it fit great IMO without one. It wasn't secure and I was very careful with it, but I was comfortable with it. The storage baskets were great but I was a little disappointed with the sun shades. I do have the city mini at all so when you compare the 2 there is no competition (the city mini wins) but if I just had the Combi I most likely would have been completely happy with it.

  • We were considering the citymini double but when I looked at it at the stores it seemed hard to maneuver once it was folded. I was concerned about this when traveling through airports or trying to put it in the trunk of a taxi.

ive never had a problem with the city mini when it came to putting it in my trunk. I have an SUV (Acadia) though so that makes it easy. I've never travelled with it though so I can't comment. I'd imagine it would be difficult though, and I would prefer the Combi to travel with.

  • We used the combi twin, I have large babies and so instead of using our chicco seat we just bought a snuzzler and put the newborn there secured in the stroller and he did just fine. It isn't lasting long for us though because my 2 year old has decided he hates to sit in the stroller so we are going to buy a sit n stand instead. DS1 has been real good about following and helping push little brother's single stroller but when we do the zoo outings or walks around the park he refuses to ride in the double because he'd rather walk.

  • We have this stroller and yes, we've used our Chicco Keyfit with it.  It doesn't "snap" in, but i wedges down into the seat (with the seat all the way reclined) and is quite secure that I feel comfortable with it.  It's the most compact double that you'll find, as far as folding.  It's a great stroller for those purposes, but it's just not very luxurious.  I have a Britax double that I use for every day and they are night and day.  The Combi is a rough ride over bumps, the basket is useless, etc.  But if all you are looking for is something to quickly transport the kiddos in...it's fantastic!
