Hi ladies...i have been off the boards for a while since my last miscarriage in july. i popped in a couple weeks ago to ask a couple questions about AMH levels because we decided to move on to ivf, in order to speed things up a bit. we did nothing in january, because we were preparing for the ivf cycle in february, when i got my period, which was supposed to come on the 9th. it never came. i waited a day, took a pregnancy test...and it's positive (actually, i took 2)! i went monday to get betas and the first one was 2,228. went again yesterday and it was 4,499. my RE is really happy with the numbers, which puts me slightly more at ease. i know you can't tell a whole lot from betas, but i'm shocked at the difference from my pregnancy last may (1st was 257, 2nd was 500-something). i wish i knew what they were when i was pregnant with my son, but i had no issues with getting pregnant at that time, or staying pregnant, so there was no reason to check. my first OB scan is mar 4th, which will be the real test (that's when we found a problem with growth the last time...we had a heartbeat, but were a week behind in growth...the heartbeat stopped shortly after that). praying this is a healthy baby and pregnancy. feeling very blessed right now with this little miracle we've been given. trying to stay optimistic and enjoy that things are good today.
