I hope I find you all well and positive this week! If you have any questions you would like answered, please don't be shy! You can also ask the PAL ladies. Bake, little buns, bake! :
How far along are you? What size fruit is your baby this week?
Do you have any upcoming appointments or milestones?
QOTW: How did you tell your SO about your BFP last time? This time?
How far along are you? What size fruit is your baby this week?
I am 37 weeks 5 days and I am a watermelon
Do you have any upcoming appointments or milestones?
Tomorrow is Avery's birthday and I am having a lot of bittersweet memories that are resurfacing. I have an ultrasound on Tuesday so hopefully that will put my mind at ease.
QOTW: How did you tell your SO about your BFP last time? This time?
Last time, I met him at the airport ( he was flying in from a bachelor party) with a sign that said "Surprise! You are going to be a Daddy!" This time I tearfully asked him if he could see the line too.
What is on your mind this week?
I am overwhelmed with anxiety right now. Tomorrow is Avery's birthday and I have been having a lot of d?j? vu about this time last year. We had a huge outbreak of fifths disease at school and my blood work showed that I don't have the immunity, so I am home until Blake gets here.
My angel Avery- 2/16/12, My rainbow Blake= 3/4/13, Joyfully awaiting #3 5/11/15
This is my first time posting on this check in. I have been lurking on the PGAL board but so many of those ladies have had much earlier losses and I have a difficult time relating.
How far along are you? What size fruit is your baby this week?
9 weeks. Not sure of the fruit, still haven't brought myself to make another ticker.
I also hate the whole fruit thing. Everytime I see it now I think of holding Bella and I cannot imagine seeing her has a "fruit".
Do you have any upcoming appointments or milestones?
Today marks the 3 month mark of our loss of Bella. Also, have a SCH that bled so badly 2 weeks ago we went to the ER.
QOTW: How did you tell your SO about your BFP last time? This time?
Last time I asked him to come out to our van at his parents house and shoved the + test at him. It was a COMPLETE suprise!
This time... I told him I had been praying to become pregnant again and that I thought I was. Our faith has been the only thing that has carried us through this experience. I took a test shortly after and it was negative (4weeks post partum) Thought to myself "Okay thats a good thing. My hcg levels have returned to 0." Period never came, tested again, and it was +. Told him over the phone is shock, turns out I was when I told him the first time I was just to early for it to show on an hpt. Praise God!
My OB and the nursing staff have been great but are in disbelief just as I am that we have been blessed with another chance so quickly...
What is on your mind this week?
We have always forgone any testing such as a quad screen in the past. I am now debating on doing the quad screen. I think it may be easier to be prepared for a possible loss due to a chromosomal abnormality if I had a heads up but ....... nothing probably makes it any easier so I do not know...
