My DD is just about 11 weeks. Every time she poops its a complete blowout massacre. I'm talking up the back, clothes covered in poop type of blowout. This is about every 2 days. I've thrown out more onesies than I can count. And have every cut them off her with scissors to avoid pulling over her head and smearing her face in the poo. Ummm, is this normal??
I had her in her cute V Day outfit and then the blowout occurred. I can't believe how much poo comes out of someone so small lol.
Re: Poop
Yup. It's seriously gross. Not sure sure what kind of diapers you use, but you might want to try changing? We have much better luck with Pampers than with Huggies, just bc of the way our LO is built. For someone people, they have better luck with the other way around.
I also recommend Baby Oxy Clean - add it to the laundry to get poop stains out or presoak stuff. Better than throwing things away!
My first daughter was like that too. Then DD#2, was fine. We were very brand loyal for diapers to pampers. It was the only brand that would remotely keep the poop in. With #2, she can wear whatever is on sale.

This is what I found with DD1 too. Blowouts are an indication that its time to go to the next size!
I really appreciate everyone's insight. I'm struggling lately between her blowouts, she won't take naps, fighting with DH, her bad reflux, trying to give her meds, etc. it is so helpful to come on here for advice.
We pretreat clothes from blow outs then, since we cloth diaper in addition to disposables, I use that laundry detergent on the clothing and it gets all the stains out. I use Rockin Green detergent. It's formulated to remove poop
You can get it pretty cheap on Amazon and it's more cost effective really than a lot of every day brands.
PP said Oxy Clean for babies...i haven't seen that in my area but i use the regular Oxy for stained clothes in a regular load with other clothing to get the stains out and then i rewash it again in the baby detergent with the rest of LO's things. So any of the oxy products will probably help. I think they can clean ANYTHING!
