*UPDATED* Dammit! My FWP/non clicky poll

Last Sunday I went to a local boutique and bought some cute jeans.  I realized that they were too big, and returned them today.  Of course, C wasn't cooperating while I tried on the smaller size and talked the salesperson into letting me exchange them ( I had taken the tags off of the original pair).  I take them home, remove the tags on my new pair and realize that one of the front belt loops are missing!  Dammit!  I can either:

a) return them again, with C in tow, apologizing once again for ripping the tags off

b) just say eff it and wear them anyways.  You can't really tell, but I do wear belts with my jeans.  Maybe steal a belt loop off another pair of jeans that I don't wear and sew it on.

What would you do?  Also, they are $68 jeans.

*UPDATE*

Well, I took them back, and he said they'd order another loop.  He just called me to say that he could either fix them for free or take 1/2 off.  I opted for the fixing, but now I'm thinking that I'd really like the $.

Missy, I gotta wear a belt or they'd slide right off.  I don't have hips, and I carry my extra weight in my stomach.  So the sh!t just slides down :-(

  • I would probably keep them and sew the extra belt loop on them. But I've been accused of being way to nice on multiple occasions and I wouldn't want to go through the whole having to convince them to exchange something a second time after I'd ripped the tags off.

  • I don't wear belts and am lazy, so I'd probably just keep em.

I'd take the money and just sew a belt loop on that you take from an old pair of jeans that you don't wear anymore.

I called them and told them thats what I'd do!  Crystal, come over and sew these jeans for me!

Lol! I'm not going to lie, it's going to suck hand sewing that many layers of denim. You should see if there's a YouTube tutorial. Have you started sewing your pouf yet? The most expensive part was the piping. I think I'm going to try to make my own on the next pouf that I make.

I finished it!  I'll go up and take a picture of it and post it.  It wasn't easy, and alot of undoing the sewing that I just finished.  I effed up the tension, but I finally figured it out :-)
