Babies on the Brain

hurry up

My SIL is now 38 weeks and my nephew Jaxson (yes correct spelling) is weighing in at 41 weeks. My thought is just get him out already. If he comes while I am in Florida I might be a little upset I wasn't there. Yes, I did post before about not getting along with my SIL but I thought about it and want to be the bigger person and just accept that we ARE family and that I do have nieces and soon to be nephew I want to be there for. But truly I am VERY excited :)

Re: hurry up

  • He will come when he's good and ready. How big he's measuring (especially this late of gestation) has very little bearing on that.

And maybe it's just me, but we've had enough heartache around here lately with babies arriving before they should that this post rubs me the wrong way.

  • Those ultrasounds are frequently very wrong. I have heard of a couple instances where doctors have pushed for a section because of the baby brig "too big" and then the baby ended up 7 pounds. There are quite a few developmental things that are still happening in the womb at 38 weeks. Let that baby bake!
