So after a diarrhea explosion in V's crib yesterday...

I asked the kids if they could take care of the supper dishes on their own because I have a million things to disinfect.  Usually we are supervising...anyways they knocked over the plastic thing that spins around in the dishwasher.  Not only did the dishes not get cleaned but my kitchen filled with smoke because the heating element burned through the plastic part.

I'll be washing dishes by hand until the new part comes on the 18th.

On top of this MH is now sick...

You know that movie "click"  I really wish I had a remote control, I would have fast forwarded the past week for sure.

Aw, Penny, that sucks!  I'm sorry things are so lousy right now.  Hope everyone feels better soon.  Maybe it's time for the kids to learn about washing dishes by hand?

 I agree with this! I think hand washing the dishes would be a great way for the kids to help out while you try and get on top of everything else that's happening. We never had a dishwasher growing up, and my sisters and I all had a week of dishwashing at a time from 7-8 years old until we moved out. I hope things start to look up for you!

Fucck, that sucks! Those older kids are going to have super clean hands for the next couple weeks!
