Thanks for all the votes on our list yesterday!  We came up with a top 3 for girls last night... what is your favorite??

Keira   (kee-ra)
Mavis   (may-vis)

We would like to use Marie or Ruby for middle names, but are open to others... can anyone suggest any?  And any combos you like?

I actually think I like Mavis Marie the best out of the three.  Next would be Mila.  I don't think you can go wrong.  I love Ruby, but am not sure it flows well with the choices you have but Marie goes great with all of them!

Mavis Marie! 

I believe all children should have songs with their names in them that are awesome and special. Richard Shindell's There Goes Mavis is about a whimsical young girl who sets her bird (Mavis) free at the beach to give her a happier bird life. It's the first thing I thought of and a lovely underused name.

Of those three, I like Keira the best. I think Keira sounds nice with Marie or Ruby.

My daughter's name is Keira, so of course I'm partial to that choice. Her middle name is Marielle because I didn't want to be exactly the same as my middle name. Marie is nice though, and flows better than Ruby for the middle spot IMO.
