Saturday Feb 16th Meetup

I posted this in a different thread but wanted to make sure everyone sees it and knows they are invited! Usually I can meet weekdays but my husband has to work so this would be a great time for those who can only meet on weekends.  I know it's a little short notice but this will be the only Saturday I have for God knows how long! Since I am new to the area and don't know many places or where everyone is coming from I Yelped some places within 10 miles of my house in the Denver area.

Would anyone want to meet at Church of Cupcakes this Saturday from 1:00-2:00? They have couches, tables, loungers etc so I think with any size group we could make it work. If anyone has a better idea or a place that may be better located go ahead and throw it out there.

Depending on how many ladies reply I will contact Church for accommodations. 

Please let me know asap if times and day work! I would love to get out, meet some people and have some cupcakes! (I never wanted cupcakes till I got pregnant!)

I think I can make it! and it works out well too since I need to go pick up some yarn at the lamb shoppe which is only a few blocks away from there.

Oh my god! A fellow knitter! haha I just Yelped that place about a week ago and it's says it's the best in town. I have been knitting for twenty years and even worked at two shops when I was younger. I'm glad it works for someone!Let's plan for Saturday from 1:00-2:00 at Church of Cupcakes.

I'm not a very good knitter by any means but I try. I'm quite sure you're way better than me, especially if you've been knitting for 20 years!

Can you count me as a maybe?! We had what seemed to be the flu (even though we've all had flu shots) come through our house last weekend. I'm doing much better, but my baby is still recovering with a runny nose and coughing. I need to indulge in a cupcake and take a short break from my girls, so I'll do my best to be there!

crazycoffeegirl, if you have any knitting questions I am here to help. I have taught many classes over the years and working in two knitting stores I had to know lots of details, techniques etc. I'm currently making my baby a sweater and then will be making him a stuffed animal:) What are you working on?

 Surely Funke, I hope you and all your babies feel much better asap! We will def save a spot for you! Not sure how many gals can make it out but I will be there for sure and my name is Christian. Stop by if you can!

Awesome! We'll plan for four or five of us! I will get there a little early to get a table and figure out their setup. Not sure how busy they get on weekends. It's on the corner of colfax and Steele and it says there is parking in the rear but I'm not sure where that is. They also have two hour street parking.
My name is Christian, I just got some Carmel ombre put into my hair, seven months pregnant so I have a good size belly, Italian with olive skin and hazel eyes. Maybe we should just wear roses like a blind date? Haha.
Can't wait to meet you all!

Someone say cupcakes?
I'm off this Saturday and would love to go. I'm 21 weeks pregnant... can't miss the belly bump. I'll be there tomorrow

That's perfect! I called ahead and the owner said they got rid of all the extra seating! They only have two tables and five chairs now. Looks like there are five of us so we can make that work. I going to get there between 12:30 and 1:00 to make sure we have both tables just in case. We can push them together and get all the chairs: So I will be there if anyone else gets there early. Can't wait for some good conversation and cupcakes! See you ladies tomorrow!
