breastfeeding and eggs & nuts

I have had 2 pediatrician's and 1 pediatric GI tell me that eggs and nuts do not cause blood/mucus in a EBF baby's poop. But I read plenty of moms' stories online where eggs and/or nuts have been the culprits. So...are my doctor's stupid or am I missing something?

Just curious...The reason I had asked my doctors was because, in going dairy and soy free, I was eating a lot more eggs and nuts than I normally would.
