A sign...

Today I stopped at QFC to buy a lottery scratcher for my Dad's Valentines card...

I was waiting patiently inline by the machine, and these two small boys were watching folks purchase tickets.  I thought, "they must find the machine interesting".

Well..when it was my turn, I bought my ticket and the one little boy looked at me and said "your going to be lucky".

That's my sign!! We are transfering two beautiful boy blasts in March and that was just the "pick me up" I needed!!

Me = 39 DH = 50 TTC (since 01/2009 after a short break, I stopped counting *cycles* in 2010)
DX 2010 : Unknown Infertility , AMA
HSG 2005 = Normal / HSG 2010 = Normal
SA 2005 = Normal / SA 2010 /2012 = Slightly low count : motility, morphology GREAT!
Chromosomal analysis, MTHFR, ANA's, Lupus, Protein C, Protein S, APCR = Normal 2011

M/C : 2005 (7wk), 2010 (6wk), 2011 (7wk)

8 IUI's 2010-2011 all BFN

IVF/ICSI antagonist 01/2012 #1 = BFN

IVF/ICSI antagonist long 06/2012 #2 = BFN

IVF/ICSI/CGH MDLF New Clinic/New RE 11/2012 #3 = One beautiful boy blasty frozen PGS normal

IVF/ICSI/CGH MDLF 02/2013 #4 = One more beautiful boy blasty frozen PGS normal

FET 6/20 : One 5AA PGS normal transferred Beta 1 6/28 = 53.9 / Beta 2 7/1 = 220 / Beta 3 7/3 = 550!

1 U/S  6w3d - Heartbeat 119 /  2 U/S - 7w5d- Heartbeat 169 / 3 U/S (OB) 8w5d - Heartbeat still great!

Baby G welcomed into the world 3/7/2014

    I LOVE this!  Write it down with the date.  It might mean something important later.  :)

    that's awesome!  agree with llama - write it down

    in 1972 my parents were having dinner at a Chinese restaurant and my mother got a fortune cookie with a fortune that read "you will have a daughter who will be loved and respected".  she held on to it and in 1975 i was born.  she kept it in her wallet until 2004, when she had it framed and gave it to me at my business school graduation dinner and told me it came true.  I of course burst out crying. i had been dating my husband for 2 years at the time, and he and his family were at the dinner too.  My mother told the story of the fortune cookie at our wedding in 2010. This past Christmas (2012) my mother in law presented me with a necklace with a fortune cookie charm.  on the back she had inscribed the same fortune.  She said she fell in love with me the day she saw my mother gave me the framed fortune and knew I was right for her son.  It's making me teary just thinking about this.

    Point is that these things are so amazing when they happen so I agree to hold on to this story - hopefully it is a sign and if so - you'll want to hold on to every detail (and don't let your dad throw the scratch ticket away!) 

    Me: 37 DH: 37 TTC since Jan 2012. RE consult and initial testing done in Aug 2012: SA fine, AMH 1.1 & HSG clear - on way to IUI but got BFP on 9/10/2012. m/c 10/3/2012 at 6w5d. BFP next cycle which was a c/p. IUI #1: Clomid 100mg 12/6= BFN. IUI#2 (unmedicated) Jan 2013 = BFN. Hysteroscopy 1/25/13. IUI#3 Clomid 100mg 2/23 = BFN IUI# 4: BFN. IVF #1 April 2013, BFP!  EDD 1/12/14 with Boy!

    Aw, what a sweet little boy!   Yep, a good sign for sure. :)

    And Lenox, your story made me tear up a bit.  Sounds like you have an awesome Mom & Mom-in-law.

    Me-41, Hubby-40.
    1st BFP-8/17/12!  Missed Miscarriage discovered @ 8 week US.  D&C.
    2nd BFP-2/13/13!  Blighted Ovum discovered @ 8 week US. Natural miscarriage.
    3rd BFP-5/22/13!  By early June, progesterone plummeting.  Another loss.
    August 2013 - started Donor Egg process, but surprise BFP with my own eggs.

    You and Lenox just made me cry.  I'm a big believer of signs & everything happens for a reason so I just loved both of your stories!
    Me 39 & suspected PCOS, DH 42. Went off BCP when we got married in 11/11, seriously TTC since 3/12.  Six cycles of clomid = BFNs.  Suspected endometriosis & HSG showed both tubes blocked.  Sept 2013 IVF 5D transfer of two perfect embryos = BFN.  Started acupuncture and taking time off to drop some pounds & get healthier before FET in April 2014.

    Awesome! Both stories were great! I had a "sign" yesterday. a friend of mine reads tarot cards and every Monday on FB she opens up her "event" for people to ask for a card read. We don't say anything to her, she just pulls a card and types us the meaning. On Monday i asked for a reading haven't in a while, and yesterday she did it, so she wrote some stuff and then wrote that she was inboxing me more, because she felt I might not want what she saw shared in a public forum. So she writes to me that all the cards that popped up were all related to pregnancy and that I should be very very very careful if I did not want to get pregnant - she does not know we have been trying....so fingers crossed that the Lap surgery will ultimatley be worth it for a BFP.

    So here is to signs! and may we all see the sign we really really want the + sign!!!

    Diagnosed PCOS 11/5/12
    clomid, trigger & timed bd 12/12 BFN
    1st clomid IUI 1/4/13 BFN.
    2nd clomid IUI 2/13 cancelled didn't respond to clomid.
    3/15/13 scheduled laparoscopy & on bcp.

    May 10 IUI from injectibles - BFN 

    May 22 done with interventions it will either happen or it won't. 

    February 2014 No longer actively trying, but not preventing. 

    SURPISE BFP 4/2/2015!!!!!!!!!!

    What great stories. I'm also a big believer in signs, and being mindful of them when they pop up. My son was conceived on my Dad's birthday (that's who he is named for--my Dad and I were really close--he passed in 2004--36 years to the day after HIS dad passed away--seven months later, my mom followed him). When I realized this, I finally began to believe that my pregnancy would be successful, and that I had two cheerleaders in heaven pulling for me.

    I think this is a wonderful sign for you. Wishing you much luck when you transfer!!! 

    Me: 42, DH: 40; Surprise BFP 4/27/2011; no heartbeat at 9w3d, we miss you, Baby Manatee; D&C 6/1/2011; AF returned 6/26/2011; Ready to try for our take-home baby. 7/24/2011--BFP! Peanut born March 2012; BFP: 7/31/2013!; blighted ovum at 7 weeks 8/26/2013. Holy Cannoli! BFP 2/23/2014. EDD 11/6/2014!
