In London! Any suggestions?

Hi all,

DS and I are in London visiting for two weeks!  DH has been here since the beginning of the year working, and we are going to sight see (as I think we are getting used to the time difference).  Any suggestions on must-sees?  We are doing the typical bus tours and going to museums, but I saw this thing about the Imagine's Childrens Festival?  Anyone know if it is going to be any good?  DS is 20 months old, if that helps!  Anyway, just wanted to say "Hi" and see if there was anything we shouldn't miss out on!

Thanks!

  • I've heard that Museum of the Docklands has a good soft play area but I haven't yet had a chance to check it out.

  • Make sure you go to the Science Museum and the Tate Modern. Ditto Hamleys. DS loved them. Too cold for picnics but Giraffe Cafes or Wagamama are great to eat at.
  • Thanks for all of the responses!  We will definitely be checking as much out as possible.  It is somewhat hard with a toddler who really needs a mid-day nap.  :)

  • Peter Pan was written in the park by Kensington palace. You could take your LO there and read the story (weather permitting).
