Non-Invasive Prenatal Testing - Amnio alternative?

I'm over 35 so I'm considering getting additional tests to find out the baby's risk for genetic disorders.  My doctor has suggested amnio but I'm worried about the miscarriage risk.  Has anyone heard about the Verify blood test that you can get done in the U.S?  Does anyone know where I can get it done here in Canada?  Thanks everyone! Smile

    Too be honest I am not familiar with the Verify blood test.  Are you running more tests because there were markers on your ultrasound or bloodwork?
