double jogging stroller with one kid?

Just curious if you can run behind a double jogger with only one child in the stroller? or will this make it really uneven?

I am by no means a "runner" but enjoy running and have been looking into a jogger since last summer but decided to hold out because our bike trailer doubled as a jogger. Well it was awful to run behind so back to the drawing board we go.

At this point Im debating a single or double jogger. The only time I really have to run is when my husband is at work or school so I would imagine I would use the double a lot. However, what is it like to with when you only have one child in it?

    I don't know why you're considering a double if you only have one kid. I think it would be weirdly uneven.

    Ah, sorry! No sigs on mobile! I'd probably get the double, then, you'll be able to use both sides before you know it.

    With a good jogging stroller like a BOB, I don't think it will make a difference if you have one kid or two in it.  If you go cheap, it might.

    We were 2 under 2, now 3 under 3!

    I don't know for sure but my thought is if you have a 15 lb infant and 40 lb toddler, that is pretty uneven and that is how they are designed to work. So my guess is that it would be fine. I think I'm going to stick with my single though because I will just plan my runs while DS is in school and I will just take the baby. I guess it depends on how you plan on using it the most.
