2nd Trimester

This is probably a stupid question...

I am 22 weeks and LO is really low in my belly.  Lately, I've felt a lot of kicking/punching downwards like towards my cervix.  It's not possible for baby to kick through it or do any damage right? I feel like it wouldn't be strong enough to but I seem to worry about every little thing lately lol.

  • No.

With this pregnancy, my little one was complete breach for several weeks and she was comfy that way! She kicked at my cervix aaaaallllll the time. I tried to explain how weird it felt to DH, but that turned out to be an even weirder conversation!

  • Oh, no, you'll be fine. If babies were able to kick through at 22 weeks, they'd be popping limbs out right and left at 32+ weeks.

  • No damage.

Other then people looking at you funny when you gasp in pain, that is. It is a little awkward trying to explain what hurt. Especially to men.

  • I'm right there with ya! My DD was always head down, but this little guy has his head above my belly button and is basically STANDING inside me! It feels like he's going to step right out! Maybe he will have strong leg muscles when he's born...
