Talk to me about organizing your LO's toys.
We have 4 toy boxes that are all full. I was putting toys with different pieces into ziplock bags to keep them together, puzzle pieces, cups for her teapot, outfits for her dolls, etc. It has really helped making sure we don't lose things.
The other night DH noticed her playing with a big bag and was worried shed put it over her head so he took everything out of the bags. Already today we were doing puzzles and missing pieces that fell to the bottom of the toy box.
So how do you keep pieces of toys together?
and i thought i loved you then

Re: Toy organization
We had a toy box, but just a few weekends ago I felt like there was so many toys that DD wasn't playing with because they were at the bottom of the box. So I went to Wal-Mart and bought a $15 bookshelf and some canvas bins and organized our toy closet in the family room. This has worked 100x better then the toy box. I was also able to put away the toys she no longer needed to play with.
BTW - DDs puzzle pieces are also in ziploc bags as well as her crayons. I just always keep an eye on her when she has those out.
Baskets on shelves. Things are organized into different baskets.
The puzzles are stacked in one basket. They also have puzzle organizers.

I have a bunch of plastic containers with lids for different sets of toys. I also have some open baskets for things like cars, trucks, etc.
As for puzzles, I have a bigger basket that they can stack in.
