My other BMB board has started with the, I am 37 weeks and have had 4 BMs today, does his mean I will go into labor soon posts. We also have the 36 and 37 weekers asking how to natural bring on labor early. Ughhhhh.
I can't believe you (and I know some of the others here) are going to be having babies soon! My husband and I were just having "last year at this time" memories. I couldn't even imagine actually repeating it again a year later. On top of my awful pregnancy, I'm just way too old to even think about it again! Congrats and good luck, though!
That being said, I don't miss all the BM and mucus plug talk that this time period brought. It was amazing to me how many of the same dumb questions kept getting repeated over and over again.
Our board was never this dramatic. There is another one now, asking if we think labor is near bc she just pooped her pants while having a contraction and is 36 weeks pg. I really want to respond and say yes!! Sounds promising, most likely in the next month you will go into labor. There has been like 5 poop posts already today.
ugh. I have a friend due next week and she has been talking about wanting the baby to come naturally for the last month! I would have loved for dd to make it to 40+ weeks.
Just want to say good luck!!! I just celebrated my brother birthday and mine... Two weeks apart. My mother was telling me since we were 11 months apart she made my brother stop using a bottle at 10 months before I showed up so she wouldn't have two kids with bottles. Not to mention I can't imagine running after my son like I do now being 9 months pregnant. On another note your kids are so lucky to be close in age. Hopefully your older one won't be as crazy as my brother who would climb in to my crib and pee then go back to his ;

Oh God! I'm sure your brother never lives that one down!!
I'm scheduled for a RCS in 19 days! At least this time all the anxiety about actually giving birth is taken out of the equation. I'm having more of a hard time thinking about leaving DS. The only time he is not with me is sometimes when he stays with DH while I go grocery shopping. Our mothers have watched him maybe twice each. Yesterday my MIL was trying to get an idea of his schedule and I didn't know what to even tell her. He eats when he is hungry and sleeps when he is tired. I can just tell when it's time for either. I'm sure he will be fine, I will probably have a harder time with leaving him.
How I don't miss those posts! I only tried to bring on labor naturally at 39+ weeks. Only because I was not dilating at all. I didn't even drop until the day I went into labor. I thought I was never going to have a baby. Then I randomly just dropped and went into labor all in one day! I didn't post about it though. Everyone else was so I could just look at theirs. Best of luck with your delivery!
I saw the title of your post and thought you were in labor!!
Now that I opened it and read, I definitely do miss those post either. There was already enough going on with our own bodies, but yet we heard about everyone else's on top of it. I don't remember poop post though, maybe I have blocked them out though.

I wasn't on the board at all during my pregnancy because my log in was all messed up and it was never fixed so then I stopped trying. But I agree I wish DS went the entire 40 weeks too.
Really?!?! Ugh. If they're not ready, they're not going to pop...
I cut down trees and moved a bunch of logs and tree limbs for 8 hours at 37 weeks pregnant (much to the disgust of those who came over to "help" with the work and instead sat around drinking and playing with a propane tank they attached a hose to to make a flame thrower) and didn't go into labor... My OB appt later that week showed NO dilation from that, either. I ended up being induced.
