That has to come out bluntly and say things on here?? Why are people hoping to bring on labor early? People are usually pregnant for 40 weeks, some more and some less.
I think it's discomfort talking. I would never wish for my baby to be born before he or she is ready but there are some days when I'm just over the discomfort and want the baby to be here.
Like PP said when I say "i'm so ready for baby to be here" I mean I'm ready for it to be march.. I would never hope to have a premature baby.
Exactly! I am ready for her to be here because I want to meet her and because of being so uncomfortable all the time. I don't want her to come before she is ready and before it is safe for her to be born but I wouldn't mind fast forwarding a little
Let me clarify that I am specifically talking about the posts that are asking how to bring on labor early at 37 weeks, or complaining that they are only 1cm dilated at 36 weeks...
My first was born on her own a few days before 39 weeks and my second was born on his own at 37 weeks. Both were totally healthy and larger sized. My doctors have said apparently I cook faster than most women. This pregnancy I have GD that isn't being controlled so will more than likely have an even larger baby than my last 8 plus pounder. So yes, at 37 weeks I 100 percent believe my babies are totally fine to come and I am ready for them to be born!!! I have no problem with someone being 37 weeks and being ready to be done!
I am 35 weeks and my baby is measuring 6 pounds already. I by no means want to have the baby prematurely but best believe on week 38 I will be doing all of the "natural ways to induce labor". I want to have the baby naturally with no drugs and at this rate it could be 9 pounds plus if I go to 40 weeks! So I am not ready right now but by week 38 I will be READY! Main concern is for a healthy baby (and healthy mama)

This. I don't think anyone wants a premature baby, I think we're all just getting excited and uncomfortable.
