Our babies are 6.5 months and seem to be eating around 4:30-5 every aftermoon. This would not be a problem but they go to bed around 6-6:30.They do not sleep through the night and would really like to push their last feed latter-closer to bed.
Any ideas? I have tried pushing them, but one of them gets so upset that she can't eat and that just sets off a different set of issues.
Re: how do you move a feeding?
This is what we did and it worked really well. Just take baby steps. Good luck!
perhaps offer less ounces at 4:30-5pm and then a slightly bigger bottle at bed time... have you ever tried feeding them in their sleep? I sometimes do this with my girls if they go to bed too early.. I'll just stimulate and feed them while in their cribs laying down... You would be surprised- I stimulate the lower lip with the bottle they open right up, eat eat eat and when they are done (either they've had enough or the bottle is done) they go right on sleeping...
I look forward to hearing what you tried and how it worked out...
