Bugaboo-Chameleon Plus vs Chameleon3

Can someone shed some light what is the major difference between the two models?

Not too sure about the differences between those two but didn't want to let you know Bugaboo is coming out with a new stroller in July called the Bugaboo Buffalo. Similar to the Chameleon 3 but will be all-terrain!

The Plus is the old model, so I am sure you could Google some articles on what is new in the C3 new model - easier fold, easier to assemble/disassemble, etc.  In fact, here is one:

And btw, I have mentioned this before but if you go to Buy Buy Baby, the Cameleon3 All Over Denim Complete set (frame + fabric) is on clearance for $899 to make way for the new Sahara limited edition.  They will call to other stores if they are out of stock or you can order by calling a store.  Online is still full price ($1059).  That + completion discount makes me happy to get this stroller for for about $800.

 

I heard people say that BBB completion is now 15% not 10% to match BRU?  I have not seen this on the BBB site, anyone know?

Whoa. That's true? The Cameleon 3 Denim set is only $899?! I think I might just have to go for that! That's insane.

Thanks for the replies, MIL wants to buy the C3 from Bloomingdales sale, as a gift for the baby, but I saw it's + is much cheaper on Albee. Obviously I can't dictate her where to buy it from, since we even have not started the registry yet. But I was going to suggest to her to look at other websites. The difference is about $300.

Yup it is true, call your local BBB to confirm and if they are out, tell them to call another to check!

 

TX-Bride - they also been selling the Plus on Gilt.com sales every 2 or 3 weeks.  They do not call it the plus but I got on with customer service to find out what model it was.  I will not post a referral link to Gilt for fear of deletion :P

The Sahara Limited Edition has been out for 2 months, so no store should currently be making room for it, especially since it is sold out through Bugaboo so stores can't get any additional inventory...BuyBuy Baby lies all the time. It's on sale because it was discontinued in Denim! The Buffalo is not being released in the United States as of now. After it is released in other countries this summer, Bugaboo will evaluate the situation and decide if it should be released in the US. If they do decide that, the earliest would be about 11 months from now. So I would not set your heart on a Buffalo if you live in the US. It is 10000% not coming out in July in the US. All in all from what I read the Buffalo doesn't seem so great.

Also it's really funny that I know the girl in that video. lol. I live near her store and got all of my stuff there. It's a really nice store and the people there are very informative

According the to the salesperson at my local BBB: officially the completion coupon is 10% company wide, but some stores bump it up to 15%.  So if you are lucky, you get the extra.  

Also, I've been able to go to bed bath and beyond in order to use expired coupons to order BuyBuyBaby items for the 20% off.  They are the same company, but with different policies, so sometimes you can work it in your favor.  Unless I just got an employee that was being nice to me that day.
