Nannies in Nashville

We live in Green Hills and are expecting our first baby in May.  Does anyone have any recommendations for nannies or nanny services in the area?

I was a nanny before I had my first.  Found my job through word of mouth.  However, after I left, the woman I worked for had success with a vandy list serve.  hope this helps!

One of my friends is a nanny, but in Austin, Texas, so not helpful for me, but she suggested using Care.com, that is where she found her job. She listed herself as a nanny, as well as families could post what they were looking for. She works for a wonderful family after they had posted looking for a "Christian Nanny", she was interviewed and they did a background check. She said most importantly trust your gut, if it doesn't feel right keep looking. As far as the Nashville area I have also heard the Vandy list serv has worked for people too.
