I'm headed out to my moms tonight for dinner by since its looking like another snow day tomorrow I have time to make a yummy meal but need ideas....sooooo what's for dinner?
I think we are going out tonight. We got a 99 gift card for Xmas that we haven't used yet. But if we don't do that then I'll be making a tomato basil tortellini soup that I saw on Pinterest.
I think tonight is homemade pizza and salad; tomorrow is a yummy pasta dish with spinach, chicken, tomatoes and cream cheese. Also for this week is crockpot Pasta Fagioli, but not until Wednesday or Thursday.

mmmm, want to share the recipe for your pasta dish? Sounds delish and I think I have all those things on hand.
Shepherds pie tonight, then for the rest of the week I have pasta w turkey kielbasa & spinach, then homemade mac & cheese! These should all give us 2 days of dinner each.
Chicken enchiladas (I got a great deal on a huge pack of boneless, skinless chicken thighs, thank you Rachel Ray for clueing me in on this option!)
Pulled pork in crock pot
Chicken tortellini casserole with spinach, mushroons, asparagus, and fresh tomatoes
Then we'll grill some of the steaks we have, or I'll put a pot roast or make beef stroganoff in the crock pot (we buy half a cow in December, which really saves some $!)
I haven't really been a weekly meal planner up until this point, but it's so hard with 2 kids by the time I get home from work (sometimes not until 6:30pm) I'm not wanting to spend a long time getting dinner ready!

you have to halve this recipe - it would NEVER fit as is! Even halved it fills my crockpot to the top. But it's awesome
