It's very pretty, but some people may have a Twilight association.  It wouldn't bother me though if it's a name you love.

I really dislike Bella names (Isabella, Arabella) as well as Bella on its own.

I'm probably one of the few people who actually prefers Bella to Isabella. I think it's a great name, but Isabella is just so common I would never use it.

While I don't know anyone IRL with the name, it's quite popular.

I've never been a fan of this name, Twilight aside. It's too cutesy for me. But I don't mind it as a nn for a name like Isabel, etc.

To me it seems very juvenile... I'm having a hard time picturing it on someone who is 35.

And I've never seen anything Twilight-related... there are many people out there who don't care about Trampire movies.

I would say to name her Isabella and do Bella just as a nickname. That way when she's older she can switch to the more grown up sounding Isabella.

Besides it being overdone, and associated with Twilight, I can't picture it on an adult. I haven't seen or read Twilight, but I don't think it is a good association. However if that doesn't bother you, if popularity doesn't bother you, and you don't feel it is a little girl name like I do, then go for it.

I used to think it was pretty.Now I think it is overdone much like Ellie and I would be perfectly fine never hearing it again.
