My baby girl will be one month on the 14th but she still has not smiled. Just wondering when your babies first really saw your face and smiled back at you. I feel like she looks at everything around me but not me. I am just wondering if this is common and when I can expect her to really see me. Thanks

It was just this week for me. She smiled a few times. I'm sure it will be any day now.

She was 4 weeks on Monday and 1 month on Thursday.

My baby really just started smiling at my husband and I. I would say her first one was right around the one month mark. She is almost two months old now and she is smiling a lot more.

I posted about my boy not looking at me just earlier this week, and a couple days later he really started doing so. Today I saw his first real smiles that I was CERTAIN were real and not gas -- there were a few before today that I wasn't sure.

He is 6 weeks 2 days.

With both kids, the first smile was around a month. At 6 weeks, it was more noticable. At 2 months she was smiling a lot and it was much more reactive than random.

Around 6 weeks or so here. Even then it was rarely at DH or I, it was usually at the ceiling fan :

LO's first social smile was at exactly one month. He now does it occasionally. I read that average is 6 weeks.

HA! Too funny... mine loves the ceiling fan too. That and the black vent on our living room ceiling. I just said to DH that we spent a fortune on all this baby gear and the only things he loves are a ceiling fan and a vent!
