Where do you keep your Thomas trains?

DS has a ton of the Thomas trains from the wooden railway. He can't keep them on his train table because there are too many and he doesn't have enough room to drive the trains. The drawers are really deep and full of other toys.

I'm looking for a storage/display solution that is neat. Right now I have them in a big bin and it's not good for the trains because they are getting beat up.

Thanks for any ideas!

Re: Where do you keep your Thomas trains?

  • I don't really know whereyou could store them besides a bin/box or drawer? Maybe thomas or someone makes a custom storage thing... ??? or a hot wheels storage case, though the trains might be too long for those spaces, i've never tried it.. (ETA tried it, definitely too small for the engines & most other piece)

saw this online...not sure how many spots you're looking for though...https://www.ebay.com/itm/Thomas-Train-Storage-Case-17-Compartments-Thomas-Friends-/390473648363

  • We keep his trains in a clear plastic bin uinder the train table.  His bigger track pieces are in an under the bed storage bin.  We have Take n Play.  The trains are starting to chip a little bit.  Goos luck in your search!

  • We have a three drawer storage bin.  One drawer has all the trains & buildings, one drawer has the tracks, and one drawer has the bridges.
