Does pasty poop mean constipation?

LO started 'solids' at 4 months. 

In the last month or so his poop has been more pasty and I'm sure its because of what he's eating (veggies, fruits, cereal, etc.).

Is this normal?

I read somewhere once that pasty poop could mean LO is constipated.

Sounds normal to me as long as lo is going more often than every 3 days.

Pasty poop is normal for solids. Constipation is generally indicated by straining to go and hard, pebble-like poops.

Nope, that's what poop-post-solids looks like. Like peanut butter. Gross but normal.
