Tonight I put fussy DD on the lounger facing the fireplace. She sat there contedly watching the fire and talking to her feet the whole time I made dinner and fed the dog. DH comes in the door, sweeps her up into a hug and she starts waaailing. He puts her back in the chair in front of the fire... bam... instantly watching the fire talking to her feet. 

Man, I get it. After a day of tummy time and spitting up and pooping in my pants, I, too, would just want to sit in front of a blazing fire and talk to my feet!

 Don't you love a good fire in the fireplace??

We have a fireplace, we just haven't used it this winter! I'm surprised too! I will have to try that with K sometime soon!

I would love to have a fireplace right now as I pump listening to the wind howl and freezing rain bang against the windows. Ugh. I'm so over winter.
