Hi all! I'm sort of late introducing over here.
I'm sbrowns and I posted on IF and 3T in 2010-2011. We got pregnant last January on our first IVF and we welcomed our baby boy, Isaac, in October.
The last few months have been a crazy whirlwind, but we're finally settling in. I look forward to seeing familiar faces and sharing this leg of the journey with you all!

Things are really good all around right now. Avery is much healthier after her tubes and a daycare situation change, which has been a big stress relief for me. I cut my hours back to 25 hrs a week, and that's been a lifesaver, too. We are gearing up for a cycle in May or June, because we are psycho. : Since Avery FINALLY started sleeping semiregularly, I feel like I could maybe, possibly be crazy enough to do it again.
Yes October babies are sweet, and if your LO is anything like mine...a bit strongwilled, too! How are things going? It took me a full 6 months to adjust to parenthood, and some days I am still adjusting....

Oh my goodness I could have written your post! Isaac is very very strong willed and quite intense. The last month or so I finally was able to breath a little. He's still sleeping like crap but breastfeeding has gotten to be so much easier, thank gosh. I'm off work until he's seven months so I'm very lucky.
Glad to hear A is doing well and you get to spend more time with her!! And cycling again? Holy crap! Good for you. Ill be awaiting updates.
I had such an easy pregnancy and delivery that I was thinking I could do it again soon no problem. Then my sweet baby screamed his head off for three straight months and I changed my mind. Lol!

That's a good way to put it....intense. Avery is absolutely an intense child. My mom likes to say she is "spirited". In any case, she was NOT an easy infant, so I hear you on that! Just hang in there and know you arent alone. : Did Isaac have colic? Diet issues? Just ornery? Whatever it is, I hope it's behind you. If you ever need to vent about screaming/refusal to sleep/climbing/tantrums etc I'm your gal!

Oh you're speaking my language girl! Isaac has always tolerated breastmilk well. I don't know if you would call what he had colic - more PURPLE crying. Have you ever read the theory behind that acronym? Describes him to a tee. He's much calmer now, though he will let you know when he wants something, no question. Now we are mainly dealing with the residual sleep issues. He literally only slept on our chests until 8 weeks. Then I moved him to a cosleeper until 3 months where I would still nurse him back down in bed. Now he's in his crib and doing fairly well, apart from this week and this gosh darn 4 month sleep disturbance.
