Little guy is 3 months old, and starting to show signs that he doesn't want to be swaddled for sleeping anymore, ie busting himself loose a couple of times a night

However, when I put him down unswaddled, he doesn't sleep for very long. Any suggestions to make the transition smoother?
Re: Transition from swaddling
If he's not sleeping well without it he's probably not ready. You could always try something like the Woombie which is impossible to bust out of. DD slept in that until she was 6 months.
The other option is to just swaddle one arm, but again, if he's not sleeping as well without it, I would stick with the swaddle for now. Eventually he will stop startling and won't need it anymore.
