Babies' weights

Just taking a fun little poll. What were your children's weights when they were born? I'm wondering if the rule is true that your first is always your lightest and that the more you have, the heavier they get.

DD1 was 6lbs 11 oz, DD2 was 6lbs even.

I've heard from a lot of moms that their first was their smallest and each one got bigger, but I'm proof it's not always true

My DD was 5lbs 10.5ozs. My DS was 6lbs 1oz. My second was a preemie and was still bigger than my full term 1st baby.

Hmm, hope this isn't me when May rolls around! DS was 9 even.

#1 - 6lb 14oz (8 days overdue)
#2 - 9lb 1oz (5 days overdue)

I hope that trend doesn't continue at the same rate for #3!

DD2 7lbs 14oz (39w4d)

I've also heard boys weigh more than girls usually but that might not be accurate.

7lbs 4 oz and 7lb 5oz, both born at 40wk5days. #2 was 1/2 inch longer too. My babies are consistent!

My grandmother had 6 children--her largest was her 4th. Her second and third were smaller than her first.

My oldest was actually the biggest.

DD1 was 8 lbs. 0 oz.

DD2 was 7 lbs. 6 oz.

Oldest - 6 lbs 10 oz (40 weeks 5 days)

Youngest - 6 lbs 12 oz (40 weeks 1 day)

My mom had 4 kids.  Her boys (#2 & 4) were heavier then the girls, and I was the lighest at #3.

DS1 was 6 lbs 8 oz and DS2 was 7 lbs 6 oz.  DS1 was born at 37 weeks and DS 2 at 40.

I sincerely hope this isn't true for me - DS was 8lb 12oz, which was completely unexpected.

DS  8lbs 8oz - 40 weeks exactly. I gained 50lbs over the pregnancy, and returned to 10lbs over pre-pregnancy weight (130lbs) in 4 months.

 DD 5lbs 12 oz - 37w 5d.  From the 130lb start, I gained just 12lbs this time. I?m told there is no corralation, but it sure is odd.

DS1 was 9lb 12oz - 5 days late - is still a big kid at 3 1/2

DS2 was 7lb 4oz - 39w5d - is still a small 2 1/2

DS3 was 8lb 4oz - 39w3d - is just now in 6-12mth clothes at almost 8mth old

First was 6lb 11 oz and I was3 days overdue. Second was 7lb 3 oz and was 6 days overdue.
