Do you think boy or girl? It's in my top 3. The other 2 are Owen and Liam. I know Liam is super popular but that doesn't bother me.

My first thought was boy since I knew at least one male Parker growing up. Then I remembered the actress Parker Posey, but I think it's more common for boys.

Thank you! I've never met a female Parker IRL. But when I mentioned it on the BNB a while back a lot of people said it's too girly.

In general, I think that first-names-that-are-really-last-names sound more masculine.

Parker will be our son's name come June. FWIW, I hate it on a girl. Obviously, I love it for a boy.

I've always loved Parker for a boy. I don't see it as girly at all. Also, Owen is the name we're using if we have a boy. Good choices in names!

Thank you everyone for the opinions! I will report back to my husband. Maybe we will have a name sometime before baby boy is born! I won't hold my breath though! He's being very stubborn and won't really discuss anything yet. Husbands...

DS's name is Parker, and I love it! I think boy now since we named him Parker, but I used to know a girl named Parker and it fit her well too.

The only Parker that I have actually met was a girl, however, I think of it as a boy name.

I know two people who named their boys Parker last year. I much prefer Owen or Liam. Unisex names are very NMS.

Boy and fwiw dd was to be Owen if she was a boy....we now have 3 close friends with baby boys named Owen I think it may top Liam the last few years
