Intro (kind of long... sorry!)

Hi ladies.  I am sadly joining you on this board.  I lost our angel a few days ago at 17.5 weeks.  After it taking almost three years, lots of IUIs and two IVF cycles to get pregnant, we are beyond devastated.  I may be kind of quiet on this board for a bit while I sort through emotions but wanted to intro now so I can feel ok to respond to posts as I'm ready.

My loss story:  I was sick with a stomach bug and uti when I started spotting.  Went to the ER on Sunday was checked and everything with the baby was fine- uti had gotten bad so they said that is where blood had come from and I was dehydrated.  By Tuesday I was feeling worse and went to see my OB.  Fluid was low around the baby so I was sent to the hospital for more monitoring and testing.  It was determined that my water had broken and there was nothing they could do.  They had to induce me so that I could deliver our angel.

So very sorry for the loss of you LO.  You have found a great place for support during this painful time.  This board moves pretty slow in general and is a very gentle and supportive place.  So many t and p's to you!

I am so deeply sorry for the loss of you LO. These first days and weeks are hard but they do start getting a little easier. It took us 10 years and IVF to get pregnant with Isabella. It makes the loss that much harder. My heart breaks for you. I hope you find as much comfort here as I have. The ladies here are so wonderful. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your DH.
